Manage the transparency level within projects

Within a project, you have the option to select a level of visibility for its developers. This parameter has an impact in the Diagnostic view and determines the field of actions that each developer can observe. Three levels of transparency are available :

  • None: the user will only have access to his own actions and all statistics will be calculated from them.
  • Anonymous: the user will have access to the actions performed for all members of the project, but the authors of the actions are anonymized. It is thus possible to compare yourself to other users and to see the last actions performed on the project, while keeping a certain confidentiality. All the statistics proposed in this view are calculated from the actions of the project members.
  • Open: the user will have access to actions performed for all members of the project, and the authors of the actions are not anonymized. This mode therefore offers the most total transparency between members of the same project. All the statistics proposed in this view are calculated from the actions of the project members.

To update the visibility level of a project, go to the Administration section and then to the Projects tab. Identify in the list of projects the one you want to update, then in the Actions column click on the Edit button:

In the form that is available to you, update the project visibility in the Visibility section for developers, and then click Edit to complete the operation.
